Secure AI for accounting, CPA & advisory firms

Secure, on-premise AI for accounting firms, CPAs & financial advisors.

You hold client financial data and NPI. It stays in your office, on hardware your firm owns.

The problem

Your staff’s AI use is invisible to you, so the disclosure never gets logged.

GLBA's Safeguards Rule makes you responsible for where client data goes, including where a staff member sent it at 11pm in March. FINRA's 2025–2026 guidance warns specifically against customer data being ingested into a vendor's AI. Busy season is when the pressure to paste a client's return into a chatbot is highest — and when you can least afford to find out afterwards.

The solution

You get a private AI over your own workpapers, cited to a reference a reviewer can check.

Private Q&A over client files & workpapers

Ask across engagement files, prior-year returns and workpapers. Answers cite the workpaper reference, so a reviewer can check them.

Return & workpaper summarization

Year-over-year variance narratives, review notes and client-ready summaries drafted from the file itself.

Research assistant on your own data

Firm positions, memos and templates become searchable, so the answer is the one your firm already stands behind.

Advisors and RIAs

Meeting notes to summaries and follow-up letters; private portfolio and product research over your own approved material. Nothing about a client's holdings is sent to a vendor — which is the part compliance asks about first.

How it works

From analysis to a running system in your office.

01

You tell us where the hours go

A free 30-minute analysis. We say where a private AI pays for itself in your firm — and say so if it doesn’t yet.

02

You approve the build

You see the whole number before anything is ordered. The system is engineered to your workflows, not a template.

03

You get it installed

In your building. Encryption, SSO + MFA and audit logging, documented for your compliance file.

04

You stop thinking about it

24/7 monitoring, model updates and document-pipeline upkeep on one flat monthly plan.

What a build includes

Engagement files and workpapers, answerable with the reference attached.

Indexed from your own document store, scoped by role, every answer citing the workpaper a reviewer can check. Your written information security program is updated as part of the install.

Compliance controls

Documented for your compliance file.

Encryption at rest
Full-disk encryption on every drive in the appliance. Keys held by you.
TLS in transit
TLS 1.3 between the chat client and the appliance. Nothing crosses your perimeter.
SSO + MFA
Binds to the identity provider you already run — Entra, Okta or Google Workspace.
Audit logging
Every prompt, document read and answer written to your log store. Retention is your policy.
Data never leaves
No outbound inference calls. Prompts, files, embeddings and outputs stay on the box you own.
Documented for your file
Control narrative, network diagram and configuration handed over as a PDF for your compliance binder.
On-premise is not, by itself, a compliance programKeeping inference in the building removes third-party-disclosure risk — the largest single item. You still need written policy, staff training and a current risk assessment. We hand over the technical control documentation; your counsel or compliance officer owns the program.
FAQ

Financial & Accounting — the questions we get asked.

Which AI is best for accountants?
For anything touching client data, the deployment matters more than the model. A private open-weight model on your own hardware, indexed over your engagement files, beats a smarter cloud model you can't feed the actual documents. For public research, the cloud tools are fine.
How can an accountant use AI?
The wins are concentrated in review and drafting: variance narratives, workpaper summaries, client letters, prior-year lookups, and answering “where did this number come from” in seconds instead of an afternoon.
How can a financial advisor use AI?
Meeting notes into summaries and next steps, drafting client communication in your voice, and searching your own approved research. Keep it on your own systems and the ingestion question never reaches your compliance officer.
Can you use ChatGPT as a financial advisor?
You can use it for general drafting. Putting client-identifying financial data into it is a disclosure to a vendor, and under GLBA that is yours to justify. A private system removes the disclosure rather than documenting it.
Is there an AI that gives financial advice?
Consumer products will produce something that reads like advice. Nothing about that satisfies suitability, supervision or record-keeping. Use AI to prepare and summarize; the advice stays with the licensed human, on the record.
